Six More Weeks

I can’t believe I only have six weeks until I’m leaving. I have so much to do and so little time. I’m still going to be working for the next three weeks so that doesn’t give me a lot of time to just focus on getting ready. I’m starting to get the things I need, slowly but surely. Originally in my head I figured that I would be relaxing and catching my breath before the great adventure, which I’m sure will have plenty of restless nights. I feel like I’ll have just barely enough time to get everything done before I leave. Of course I’m making time to go see friends and family, hence why my work ends in three weeks.
I found out that my cousin’s brother-in-law did his missionary work in Mozambique. He has been nice enough to send me a bunch of pictures from his time there. It looks amazing there! I can’t wait to set foot in Africa! And don’t worry Mama I’ll be sure to check where I’m stepping to make sure there aren’t any snakes!
Reading more information from current volunteers in Mozambique, I might not be as disconnected from the interwebs as I believed I would be. This is good, yet at the same time a little disappointing, I’ve been looking forward to unplug. I guess I’ll find it all out soon enough.
Also, I’m pretty sure I’ll be switching my blog so when I have it all worked out I’ll update it with the new site.
